Rates for the 2026 season
The outfit's own figures, reproduced exactly. Harvest fees for elk, moose and goat are $15,000 each, with bear and wolf at no charge — royalties and tax included.
The hunt they specialise in, and the only one without a number. Everything else on this page has a number beside it, so that is the one a hunter notices.

What already works
The rate card is current and complete
Headed “Rates for 2026 Hunting Season”, priced to the dollar, with harvest fees, royalties and tax stated. Most outfitters make a hunter ask.
Harvest fees are in writing
Elk, moose and goat at $15,000 each, bear and wolf at no charge, royalties and tax included. That is the sentence that prevents an argument in camp.
Getting there is properly explained
Fly to Fort Nelson, book the Central Mountain Air flight first, mile 428, ten kilometres past Toad River, right at the sign. That is a real answer to a real question.
And five things costing bookings
There are two live websites, and neither mentions the other
stonemountainsafaris.com and foldingmtn.com are both up, both selling the same hunts in the same country, under two different names. A hunter finds one of them and has no way of knowing the other exists — and search engines split the credit between them rather than giving it to either.
The two sites disagree about prices
One publishes a full 2026 rate card. The other says to contact you for rates. Whichever a hunter lands on first is the version of you he believes.
September 31 does not exist
The hunt dates page gives the caribou window as August 20 to September 31. September has thirty days. It is a typing slip, but it is on the page a hunter uses to choose the fortnight he is going to spend twenty-five thousand dollars on.
The conventions page is six years out of date
It lists the 2020 Sheep Show and the 2021 SCI convention. Conventions are where this trade is sold, so it is the page most likely to be checked in January — and it currently tells people to meet you somewhere you were six years ago.
The flagship hunt is the only one without a price
Every other hunt has a number beside it. Stone Sheep — the hunt the whole outfit specialises in — says contact us. The hunter most ready to spend is the one given the least to go on.
None of this is a criticism of the outfitting. A second website usually arrives because somebody bought a business and kept both, and then two seasons go by.

Point the second domain at the first. Nothing is lost, everything a hunter has ever bookmarked still works, and all the search credit lands in one place instead of being halved.

So the two sides of the business can never again quote a hunter differently.

Dates that cannot be wrong
A season stored as dates rather than typed as text. September 31 stops being possible to write.

Shows the next show and hides the ones that have been. Better to say nothing than to say Reno 2020.
